Why this site exists
When Pinnacle closed its public API on 23 July 2025, thousands of small odds models, arbitrage scanners and research scripts lost their data source overnight. The official documentation on GitHub still ranks first for the term, and still describes an API nobody can call. This site fills the gap: what actually happened, what the replacements are, and how to move existing code over.
How we work
- We test with real keys. Every quickstart on pinnacleapi.net and every claim about data depth or transport on this site was run against the live service before publication. Prices and plan limits are pulled from the provider's public endpoints at build time, not typed by hand.
- We name our recommendation and the competitors. Our pick is pinnodds, for reasons the alternatives page spells out. The other services are listed with what they do well.
- We disclose. Links marked as referral links pay us a commission when someone subscribes. That is how the site is funded. It does not change what we write; see the disclosure.
- We date things. Every page shows when it was last checked. Comparison data is re-verified at least every 60 days.
Who
The site is written and maintained by a small team with a background in sports-betting data engineering: building odds feeds, drop detectors and settlement pipelines against Pinnacle and its skins for several years before the shutdown. We are based in the EU.

What this site is not
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Pinnacle Sports, Pinnacle Solutions or any bookmaker. "Pinnacle" is used descriptively to refer to the bookmaker whose prices the services carry. Nothing here is betting advice.
